Inspection Data Acquisition and Management

On Modern Machine Shop Magazine, dated September 2009, appeared the article "Optimize Measurement Data Acquisition Management", it talks about a suite of software products from Marposs designed for measurement and inspection data acquisition and management.

The suite's name is Quick SPC for Windows version 3.The software’s remote programming feature enables the quality manager to program and upgrade all applications running on the shop floor from a central, remote location.

Process Monitoring Helps Parts Manufacturers Save Money

Artis Systems Inc. developed a system to monitor cutter wear when drilling about 750 holes on each side of an airplane’s vertical stabilizer, and with this acquisition Marposs aims to provide shops with a full complement of pre-, post- and in-process monitoring and inspection tools.
