Process Data Collection - Industry 4.0

Process data in forming and stamping technology are becoming more and more important for high quality parts, e.g. for the aerospace or automotive industries. This data can be stored automatically and is available to companies for immediate analysis and for assessment later in case of customer complaints, for internal analysis and improvement measures. By regularly storing the process data with date, time and product number, they can easily be found and evaluated.

General Purpose Monitoring Module

The module GEMGP is an ideal solution for detecting process anomalies during metal cutting in machine tools. By measuring the force and strain GEMGP is able to detect and report tool breakage, missing tool, overload, tool wear and fluid flow (fluid pressure) in real time. Up to two sensors for strain, force or flow are connectable. A parallel operation of several modules at one visualization is possible (MultiView). Depending on the application, three different monitoring strategies can be selected (Static, Dynamic or Area).
