MIDA Complete Line of Tool Setting and Tool Breakage Arms for Lathes

Marposs will introduce its improved Mida line of tool setting arms for lathes at IMTS 2008 in booth D-4514, September 8-13, in Chicago’s McCormick Place. Mida lathe tool setting arms, including removable, pull-down and motorized arm versions, reduce setup time and scrap versus “cut and measure” methods in order to improve the quality and the competitiveness of a manufacturing process.
The Marposs Mida line of tool setting arms offers a solution for eliminating human errors during manual entry of coordinates in machine registers, to correct machine thermal drift with calibration cycles, and to rectify tool length and diameter offset with high accuracy.
